Quality..... not Quantity

My last blog covered my use of a tripod equipped with a Bogen 410 gear head. Over the years, it has assisted me in slowing down.... way down. I can more accurately minutely adjust my camera position as to more precisely compose. This has resulted in fewer images captured, but more successful images. It also assists in editing and storing of those images. Gone are the days of capturing several hundred images in one day to ultimately only utilizing a handful. It saves on storage space, and the consuming time of editing. The exception to this is when I am either shooting for support images for a digital slide show, or capturing poor variations for teaching purposes. Keep shooting, and please keep this in mind, it will increase your success rate.
